The Ledger Stack is reader-supported. Some links on this site are affiliate links: if you click one and sign up or buy, the vendor pays us a commission. It costs you nothing extra.

What that means in practice

• Every page that contains affiliate links carries a disclosure like this one, and affiliate links are tagged rel="sponsored" so search engines see them for what they are.
• Commissions do not buy placement, verdicts, or softer criticism. Every reviewed tool runs the same sample books, and we publish negative verdicts — including about tools that pay us.
• We link to tools with no affiliate program exactly the same way. Whether a link earns a commission has no bearing on whether it appears.
• We do have financial ties to some vendors through these programs — that's exactly why this page exists. What we don't have is an employer in this industry or a relationship we need to protect.
• Prices in reviews are checked on the "last verified" date shown on each article.
