Privacy policy
Last updated August 9, 2026
The Ledger Stack is a static publication. There are no user accounts, no comments, and no forms that store data on our servers — we don't have servers.
What we collect
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which articles get read. It sets cookies and collects standard usage data (pages viewed, approximate location, device type). We see aggregates, not identities. You can block it with any ad/tracker blocker and the site works identically.
- Email, if you subscribe. The newsletter signup (when open) sends your address directly to our email provider; we use it to send the newsletter and nothing else. Every issue has an unsubscribe link that works immediately.
- Email, if you write to us. Mail to hello@theledgerstack.com is read by us and kept as ordinary correspondence. Ask us to delete it and we will.
What we don't do
- No selling or sharing of personal data.
- No advertising networks or third-party ad tracking.
- No data collection beyond the three items above.
Affiliate links
Outbound affiliate links take you to the vendor's site; from that point their privacy policy applies, and the network may set a cookie to attribute the referral. Details on how we handle affiliate relationships are on the disclosure page.
